Thomas Taylor Eliminated in 24th Place ($9,970)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Thomas Taylor
Thomas Taylor

Martin Gavasci opened to 250,000 in early position and Thomas Taylor jammed all in for around 2,100,000 on his left. David Morel re-shoved all in from the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.

Thomas Taylor: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
David Morel: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} left Morel in the lead with his ace-king. The {8-Spades} on the turn gave Taylor some chop outs but the {8-Diamonds} on the river was not one of them.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko Eliminated in 25th Place ($9,970)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Soon after doubling up Yulian Bogdanov, Rostyslav Sabishchenko moved all in for his last 400,000 from under the gun. Toby Price re-shoved from middle position and the rest of the table folded.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko: {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Toby Price: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Both players ended up with a pair of jacks on the {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board, but Price's ace-kicker played to send Sabishchenko to the rail in 25th place.

Martin Gavasci: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Robinson was dominated but picked up a straight draw on the {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop. Gavasci paired his nine on the {9-Hearts} turn and Robinson didn't improve on the {3-Diamonds} river to bust in 26th place.

Shiode Doubles Through Taylor

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Naoki opened to 325,000 in early position and Thomas Taylor shoved all in from the cutoff. The action was back on Shiode who called off his stack of 1,130,000.

Naoki Shiode: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Thomas Taylor: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Taylor held a dominating lead and the flop of {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} left it that way. However, the {k-Clubs} on the turn gave Shiode a straight and the {5-Spades} on the river ensured a double up.

Hallay Tanks, Makes the Right Call

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Garrett Beckman bet 175,000 from early position and Axel Hallay called from the blinds. The turn came the {10-Spades} and Beckman shoved for 1,960,000.

Hallay went deep into the tank, covering his face with both his hands and rubbing his forehead as he considered the call. After re-checking his cards several times over nearly five minutes, Hallay eventually called with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of tens and a flush draw.

Beckman showed {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for an open-ended straight draw but failed to hit the {5-Clubs} river, which improved Hallay to a flush. The stacks were counted down and Hallay barely had Beckman covered.

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Wilbern Hoffman opened to 210,000 from under the gun and Roongsak Griffeth three-bet to 375,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Hoffman who called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and both players checked to the {j-Clubs} on the turn. Hoffman pushed all in for around 650,000 and Griffeth snap-called. Griffeth rolled over {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Hoffman was left drawing dead with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The {k-Spades} completed the board and Hoffman headed to the payout desk.
