James Sileo
James Sileo

The action folded around to James Sileo in the small bind who ripped all in for around 1,550,000. Elio Fox quickly called from the big blind and had Sileo at risk.

James Sileo: {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Elio Fox: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} to put Fox in charge with a pair of aces. The {k-Hearts} on the turn gave Sileo some hope but the {q-Spades} on the river ended his tournament.

Caroline McCarter was down to around 2,000,000 and got them in the middle from the button against Scott Hall in middle position.

Caroline McCarter: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Scott Hall: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

"How about a six one time," McCarter pleaded, but her hopes went unheeded as the dealer turned over the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board.

Timothee Scotti Eliminated in 14th Place ($14,678)

Level 32 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Timothee Scotti
Timothee Scotti

Timothee Scotti just lost a heap of chips when he doubled up John Gorsuch after they got all of their chips in the middle preflop. Gorsuch held {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} against the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} of Scotti. The board ran out clean for Gorsuch who scored the double up.

On the next hand, Scotti shipped all in from the hijack and David Morel re-shoved all in from the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the cards were tabled.

Timothee Scotti: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
David Morel: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Morel spiked a queen to take the lead. The {7-Hearts} on the turn and the {5-Diamonds} on the river sent Scotti to the payout desk in 14th place.

Martin Gavasci Eliminated in 15th Place ($14,678)

Level 32 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Martin Gavasci
Martin Gavasci

Ron Moisescu raised to 540,000 preflop before Martin Gavasci shoved all in from the blinds. Moisescu snap-called.

Martin Gavasci: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ron Moisescu: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Moisescu shot back in his chair in disappointment after seeing the {k-Hearts} on the river thinking that Gavasci had ace-king, but was reassured by the table he had, in fact, won the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Moisescu had 6,670,000 remaining, barely covering Gavasci who was eliminated.

Griffeth Shoves on Gavasci

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Gavasci raised to 400,000 from the cutoff. Action folded to Roongsak Griffeth in the big blind who put in a three-bet to 1,500,000. Gavasci called and the flop came {5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}.

Griffeth immediately shoved all in for 5,915,000. It took several minutes for the dealer to count out Griffeth's stack while Gavasci considered the decision. After being in the tank for about five minutes Gavasci let his hand go.

Christian Liel Eliminated in 16th Place ($12,027)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Christian Liel shoved all in for around 875,000 from under the gun. Scott Hall was in the big blind with the biggest stack in the room and easily made the call after looking at his cards.

Christian Liel: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Scott Hall: {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} left Hall in the lead with his ace high. The {10-Spades} on the turn made things sweaty as Liel picked up a straight and flush draw. However, the {7-Clubs} on the river bricked out and Liel was eliminated.

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Christopher Palumbo was down to just a few big blinds and he shoved all in from under the gun. Ron Moisescu re-shoved all in from a couple of seats over and the rest of the table folded.

Christopher Palumbo: {a-}{4-}
Ron Moisescu: {k-}{k-}

Palumbo was in rough shape against the pocket kings of Moisescu and couldn't find any help on the runout as he was eliminated in 17th place.

William Chewning Eliminated in 18th Place ($12,027)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Scott Hall raised from the button and William Chewning, who had 400,000 of his last 420,000 chips in the middle from the big blind, pretended to fold but stuck them in without looking.

Hall showed {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Chewning slowly turned over {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and both players made a pair of jacks, but Hall's nine-kicker played.
