Givens Doubles and Felts a Foe

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

A player in early position shoved for 490,000, the cutoff called, Will Givens shoved over the top from the small blind for 765,000, and the cutoff called to put Givens at risk.

Will Givens: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Early position: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Cutoff: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Givens had the best of it by miles with his aces and both of his opponents needed help to win. The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Givens took the pot to stack one opponent and double through the other.

Robinson Flops Bad, Turns Well

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jerry Robinson was all in from small blind, tangling with David Paredes in the big. Robinson had exactly 600,000 and Paredes had him just covered.

Robinson was well on his way to double up with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} versus {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, but Paredes outflopped him on {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The turn, however, fell {K-Clubs} and Robinson jumped from his chair in excitement. The river was the {10-Hearts} and Robinson finally locked the double while Paredes was left with only 50,000.

Simmons Triples Up

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Allen Kessler made it 65,000 from the third position and two players moved all in: the button for 380,000 and Sampson Simmons called for his 170,000 in the big blind. Kessler had them both covered and called with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Simmons had the worst hand as he showed {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} while the third player rolled over {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

However, the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Simmons hit a ten to score a triple up.

"To be honest, I deserved this," Simmons said while piling up his newly earned chips.

Abady Stacks Two With Kings

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Evan Schwartz shoved for 147,000 from under the gun, a player in middle position three-bet to 365,000, and Joshua Abady shoved over the top for about 800,000. The middle-position player called to put himself at risk for about 500,000 and all three players tabled their hands.

Evan Schwartz: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Middle position: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Joshua Abady: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Abady had both of his opponents crushed and in need of a lot of help to survive. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Abady took the pot to stack them both.
