The Streak Continues

That first bracelet has been a long time in the making. Coming into this event, Israelashvili had amassed 229 consecutive bracelet event cashes without a bracelet, a record no one is even close to matching.

Israelashvili made it to the final table of six in Event #25, and started the final table third in chips, but was ultimately eliminated in fifth place, bringing his streak to 230 events.

In total, Israelashvili has 502 overall cashes (including the WSOP Circuit) but has made several deep runs in the years leading up to the at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Last year, he had three top-ten finishes at the WSOP Europe at King's Casino, Rozvadov, including a third-place finish in Event #2: 550 Pot Limit Omaha 8-max for 29,100.

He followed that up with a ninth-place finish in the WSOP Paradise $1,500 Millionaire Maker for $50,000. And now another final table at the Horseshoe Las Vegas.

Israelashvili at the WSOP

Israelashvili's first cash at the WSOP came in 2005 in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em. He's never finished higher than third in any bracelet event, and he's only reached nine final tables out of those 230 cashes.

However, he's far and away the overall WSOP related events cashes leader. He's even closing in on Negreanu's record for most cashes in bracelet events.
