King's Resort Plays Host to 2024 World Series of Poker Europe; �15M GTD Across Schedule

Along with the schedule of the 2024 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, the dates and itinerary for the 2024 WSOP Europe have also been released, with a familiar venue playing host to the festival.

King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic will once again be the home of the WSOPE, and 15 bracelets will be up for grabs along with �15 million in guaranteed prize pools.

The series gets underway on September 18, with the curtain closing on October 9, which is when the WSOPE Main Event NLH European Championship will crown its champion.

Plenty of Seven-Figure Prize Pools

The Main Event is obviously the series' showstopper and comes with a �5 million guarantee, with around 400 qualifiers expected in the first starting flight.

The last edition had a �7,761,500 prize pool thanks to the record-breaking 817 entries. Former pro basketballer Max Neugebauer was the last player standing in 2023 and walked away with the �1.5 million first-place prize along with the Main Event bracelet.

Along with Neugebauer, there several notable names who captured a bracelet on Rozvadov soil.

2022 WSOPE Main Event victor Omar Eljach bagged his second WSOP bracelet after taking down the �550 PLO 8-Max event and came close to getting his third but was denied in heads-up during the $5K PLO.

Seasoned pro Tobias Peters came out on top in the �1,650 NLH 6-Max. He beat 2024 EPT Paris Main Event champ and two-time bracelet winner Barny Boatman and ended his 11-year pursuit of poker's most coveted prize.

In the high-stakes sphere, Daniel Dvoress and Santhosh Suvarna won some of the biggest prizes dished out inside in King's Resort, earning a bracelet each along with �600,000 and �650,000.
