WCOOP Day 5: Hiren ��hustla16�� Patel Scores Close to $500,000 with Event 11 Win
Day 5 was very busy for the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker at PokerStars. Three WCOOP bracelets and first-place prizes were awarded in the day's action, none bigger than Event #11, $530 No-Limit Hold'em. Recommencing with 214 players on Monday afternoon, Hiren ��hustla16�� Patel rose to the top en route to a $446,533.73 score.
Heading into the final table of Event #11, Daryl ��aaaaaaaa�� Jace held the chip lead and maintained a strong stack before running into disaster four-handed. After a series of pre-flop raises, Jace��s tournament life was on the line with pocket queens against now chip-leader Hiren ��hustla16�� Patel��s pocket kings. No help came for Jace and he was out in fourth place, leaving Patel with a huge lead with three players left. After a deal was reached, it did not take long for Patel to seal the deal and take down the tournament.
