Stanford Check-Raises Twice

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player opened from middle position to 8,000 and received calls from a player on the button and Cody Stanford in the big blind.

The flop came K?10?9? and action checked around to the button who bet 11,000. Stanford check-raised to 35,000, forcing a fold from the middle position player while the button made the call.

Stanford checked the K? turn and the button bet 25,000. Stanford check-raised for the second consecutive street, moving all in with a covering stack. His opponent, who had a bit more than 50,000 behind, opted to fold and Stanford took the pot without showdown.

Adam Nattress and Magnus Edengren exchanged raises that saw the latter all-in for his last 60,000.

Magnus Edengren: A?10?8?2? All in
Adam Nattress: A?A?9?8?

"Bad aces," said Nettress as the cards were tabled.

Nettress was indeed correct about holding bad aces, as they went into the muck after Edengren made nut-nut on the K?8?7?3?9? runout.

Frohli and Daly Chop Up Multiway Pot

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Daly limped in from middle position, Andreas Frohli limped in from the hijack, and three more players limped behind in the cutoff, button and small blind. The big blind checked.

All six players checked the 6?5?4? flop leading to the 5? turn. The blinds checked and Daly bet 8,000. Frohli raised to 26,000 and every player got out of the way except Daly who made the call.

On the 7? river Daly checked, Frohli moved all in for about 40,000 and Daly called with a covering stack to put Frohli at risk.

Daly had the nut-low with A?K?9?2? while Frohli had A?Q?6?5? for two pair to take the other half.
