Jose Aguilera opened to 1,000,000 in the hijack with A?Q? and Ruslan Prydryk called in the cutoff with 7?7?.
Aguilera continued for 1,200,000 on the K?J?5? flop and Prydryk called. Both players then checked on the A? turn, and Aguilera bet 4,500,000 on the A? river. Prydryk laid it down.
The remaining 20 players have stepped out for their final break of the night. Take a moment during the break to check out some highlights from the previous level:
Andrey Pateychuk raised to 1,200,000 on the button. Steven Jones three-bet to 4,000,000 in the small blind and took it down.
Pateychuk opened to the same amount one hand later, picking up calls from Jones, Adam Walton and Anirban Das. The K?8?4? flop checked through to Pateychuk, who bet 1,200,000. Only Walton called and they checked the Q? turn as well as the 3? river. Walton turned over 9?9? and won the pot.
Jones then raised to 1,200,000 for Walton to call. The K?J?6? flop brought a bet of 1,000,000 by Jones and the call by Walton.
Jones also bet the 4? turn for 3,100,000 and Walton reluctantly folded after a sip from his Fiji water bottle.
Alec Torelli raised to 1,200,000 in the cutoff and Jack O'Neill called from the big blind. The flop came K?J?6? and O'Neill checked to Torelli who bet 750,000. O'Neill made a small check-raise to 1,800,000 and Torelli forfeited his hand.
On the next hand, Torelli raised to 1,200,000 again and O'Neill shoved all in from the small blind. Torelli called off his stack of 6,480,000 and the cards were tabled.
Alec Torelli: K?K?
Jack O'Neill: A?K?
The flop came 9?9?2? and Torelli was still out front with his pair of kings. The 3? and 3? runout changed nothing and Torelli stayed alive with 20 players still remaining.
Joshua Payne raised to 1,200,000 from the button and Ruslan Prydryk called in the big blind.
The flop came 9?Q?4? and Payne continued for 1,100,000. Prydryk called and both players checked the 5? turn.
Prydryk also checked the K? river before Payne fired out 3,500,000. Prydryk instantly leaned back in his chair and tanked for more than a minute before giving up his hand.
Ryan Tamanini open-shoved his last 5,575,000 and Steven Jones looked him up from late position. The rest of the table got out of the way and the cards were turned up.
Ryan Tamanini: A?6?
Steven Jones: A?A?
The board ran out 6?K?3?9?Q? and the aces held for Jones to send Tamanini to the rail in 20th place for $345,000.
