Le Regains The Lead From Sandrock

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Chris Sandrock limped in, Artem Maksimov filled up from the small blind and Tommy Le checked in the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Maksimov check-folded following a bet of 250,000 by Le and a call by Sandrock. The {j-Diamonds} turn went check, check, and Le check-called a bet worth 700,000 by Sandrock on the {4-Hearts} river.

Le had {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for two pair, and that bested {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} bluff of Sandrock to regain the lead.

Sandrock Takes the Chip Lead

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tommy Le called from early position and Chris Sandrock raided to 540,000. Le called to see the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop, then checked before Sandrock bet 700,000. Le took a moment before making the fold, as Sandrock took over the chip lead.

Le's Flop Raise Wins It

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Chris Sandrock limped as the first player to act and Tommy Le checked his option in the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop saw Le check and Sandrock bet 200,000. Le's check-min-raise to 400,000 sent Sandrock in a very short tank for some 12 seconds and he then released his cards into the muck.

Maksimov Takes It on the Turn

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Artem Maksimov raised to 300,000 in the cutoff and Chris Sandrock filled up out of the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Sandrock bet 500,000, which Maksimov called. Sandrock then checked the {a-Hearts} on the turn and Maksimov bet 1.2 million to claim the pot uncontested.

Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 5th Place ($168,689)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Chris Sandrock opened the hand with call, Tommy Le did the same from the small blind and Jared Ausmus checked in the big blind. Le and Ausmus checked the {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and Sandrock bet 400,000. Le folded before Ausmus raised the pot for most of his remaining chips, and Sandrock quickly re-raised for the rest. Ausmus called and was at risk.

Jeremy Ausmus: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Chris Sandrock: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Ausmus showed two pair but needed running cards to make a straight against Sandrock's top set. The turn {3-Spades} ended his chances before a meaningless {a-Diamonds} completed the board, and Ausmus hit the rail in fifth place.

Sandrock Takes Two Pots Off Le

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tommy Le limped under the gun and Chris Sandrock raised to 500,000 on the button for Le to call. The duo headed to the {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Le opted to check, which prompted a bet of 500,000 by Sandrock and a call.

A three-way limped pot followed in which the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was checked. Sandrock bet the {k-Hearts} turn for 225,000 and Le was the only caller. Sandrock also bet the {q-Spades} river for 700,000 and Le folded.
