Koller Flips Well vs Chiu

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ran Koller opened to 325,000 from under the gun and I-Chun Chiu moved all in for around 1,100,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to Koller who instantly flicked in a chip to call.

I-Chun Chiu: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Ran Koller: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Koller managed to hit a pair of kings on the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop to put Chiu in dire straits. The {7-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river changed nothing as Chiu headed for the payout desk.

Cedric Has to Sweat It

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

With the action on Christopher Ryan, he pushed all in for 835,000 on the button. Adam Cedric called from the small blind and the cards were tabled.

Christopher Ryan: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Adam Cedric: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} to give Cedric a set of sevens but Ryan picked up a flush draw. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn also gave Ryan a straight draw but the {3-Clubs} on the river bricked out to send the chips to Cedric.

Song Eliminates Chen

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

It was Pete Chen that moved all-in preflop for his last 465,000 chips and Daewoong Song made the call. The two were flipping as Chen held {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} versus the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Daewoong.

The flop came {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Daewoong jumped into the lead and did not look back.

The turn {6-Spades} and the river {7-Hearts} changed nothing, and Daewoong's one pair of aces won and he was awarded the pot, which eliminated Chen from the tournament.

Iduwe Turns Broadway to Eliminate Begni

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action folded to Roberto Begni who jammed all in for a little over 1,200,000 on the button. Meyenehi Iduwe called from the small blind to put Begni at risk.

Roberto Begni: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Meyenehi Iduwe: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to give Begni top pair but Iduwe flopped a straight draw. The {a-Hearts} on the turn improved Iduwe to a straight and the {2-Spades} on the river was a brick.

Kuhn Takes One from Guimond

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action was discovered on a board of {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Florian Guimond had bet out 475,000 into Robert Kuhn who made the call.

The dealer brought the {7-Hearts} for the river and the action went check-check. Kuhn tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Spades} for trip sevens and that sent Guimond's cards hurling towards the muck.

Garrett Sends a Double Up to van Krevelen

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The hands were already tabled on Table 456 with Rene van Krevelen and B.W. Garrett having all of their chips in the middle. It was van Krevelen who was at risk for 2,200,000.

Rene van Krevelen: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
B.W. Garrett: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Despite hitting an ace on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Garrett was drawing slim to van Krevelen's set of nines. The {j-Clubs} and {j-Spades} runout secured the double up for van Krevelen.

Damico Straightens Out Chiu

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

On a completed board of {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts} I-Chun Chiu faced a bet of 1,040,000 chips from Marco Damico. This sent Chiu deep into the tank.

"I do not think I can fold", muttered Chiu.

After a few more moments in the tank, Chiu called and mucked when he was shown the bad news as Damico tabled {k-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a seven-high straight and was awarded the pot.
