Richard Mijares Eliminated in 12th Place ($16,200)

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Richard Mijares

The action folded around to Jorge Hou in the small blind who announced all in. Richard Mijares was in the big blind with just under 2,000,000 chips left and called off his stack.

Richard Mijares: {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Jorge Hou: {9-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop of {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} meant a high likelihood of the two players chopping the pot. However, the {6-Hearts} on the turn gave Mijares two pair. It was not to be out-done by the {7-Clubs} on the river that gave Hou a better two pair and eliminated Mijares.

Jonathan Kramer Eliminated in 14th Place ($13,006)

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jonathan Kramer
Jonathan Kramer

Jonathan Kramer shoved all-in from under the gun holding {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and was called from the small blind by Florian Guimond who held {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and the lead.

The flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts} changed nothing.

The meaningless turn {2-Spades} and river {4-Hearts} did the same, and Kramer was eliminated from the tournament in 14th place.

Steinbach Flops Two Pair to Double Up

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Kris Steinbach moved all in for 2,355,000 in early position and Alex Outhred re-shoved all in on his left. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Kris Steinbach: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Alex Outhred: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Steinbach was cheering for paint cards and the flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} gave him what he was looking for. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn an the {5-Diamonds} on the river ensured Steinbach of a double up.

Will Failla Eliminated in 15th Place ($13,006)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Will Failla

Jorge Hou raised it up to 700,000 on the button and Will Failla three-bet shoved all in from the small blind. The big blind folded and Hou quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Will Failla: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Jorge Hou: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

It was a coin flip for a massive pot and the board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Hou found a pair of aces on the turn and was awarded the pot. After counting the chips, it was Failla who was at risk for 6,125,000 as Hou had him covered by just 10,000.

Yulian Bogdanov Eliminated in 16th Place ($13,006)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Yulian Bogdanov
Yulian Bogdanov

Yulian Bogdanov raised with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and was all-in for his last 2,790,000 chips and Oleg Titov tank-called with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}. This meant Bogdanov was at-risk, but ahead.

That all changed when the dealer spread the flop of {j-}{k-}{q-} and Titov leap-frogged into the lead when he flopped broadway, but Bogdanov had outs as he flopped a set of queens.

The turn {9-} and river {6-} were blanks, and Titov was pushed the pot, which eliminated Bogdanov in 16th place.
