Alinat Hurts Suchanek

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jan Suchanek raised in the cutoff and Alain Alinat chose to call in the small blind.

The flop appeared {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Alinat led out for 30,000. Suchanek called. On the {7-Spades} turn, Alinat thought about his move and bet for 60,000. Suchanek called once more.

The river fell the {k-Diamonds} and this time Alinat checked, followed by Suchanek. Alinat tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a pair of kings on the river and won the pot as Suchanek held {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Suchanek was left with four big blinds after that hand.

O'Hara Barrels for the Chiplead

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Ian O'Hara
Ian O'Hara

Ian O'Hara is the new chipleader and it is the first time in the tournament that he has been in pole position.

He was in a pot against Chad Eveslage, where he opened to 50,000 under the gun and called Eveslage's raise. The flop was {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and O'Hara check-raised Eveslage to 50,000.

After he called, O'Hara barreled 50,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn and 50,000 on the {5-Hearts} river. The last bet proved to be too much for Eveslage and O'Hara took the pot without showdown.

Eveslage Latest to Take From Dao

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Tu Dao's chip lead has been reduced and the latest player to benefit was Chad Eveslage. He opened the cutoff and she three-bet to 75,000, with Eveslage putting in the difference.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Dao continued for 25,000. Eveslage called and they saw a {q-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked this street and on the {3-Spades} river, Eveslage lead for 50,000. Dao thought about it for a bit before making the call but Eveslage took it with a pair of eights with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in the hole.

Almost Half the Chips in Play for Dao

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Tu Dao
Tu Dao

Tu Dao seems unstoppable and has just won the last two hands, adding even more to her stack. In the most recent one, Jan Suchanek opened the button and when Dao three-bet, he threw in a four-bet and she called.

The flop was an all-club board of {4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Tu Dao check-called 25,000. A fourth club fell on the {7-Clubs} turn and Dao check-called 50,000 this time.

The last card was the {4-Hearts} and when Dao checked, Suchanek threw in another barrel of 50,000. She called and showed {2-Clubs}{x-} for the bottom flush. It was enough for Suchanek to instantly muck his hand and Dao is flying now with almost half the chips in play.
