O'Hara Takes From Dao

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Dao is the player most in need of a spin up. Just now she lost a pot against chipleader Ian O'Hara after three-betting his button raise to 90,000, which he called.

The flop was {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Dao opted to check rather than continue. She then called O'Hara's 30,000 bet.

The {4-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked. There was no further betting on the {k-Hearts} river and they spun their cards on their backs.

Ian O'Hara: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Tu Dao: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Both players had the pair of deuces on the board but O'Hara kickered Dao with the higher ace and he chips up even further, whilst Dao is shorter-stacked than she's been at any point today.

O'Hara Extends his Lead

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Ian O'Hara raised on the button and called a three-bet from Tu Dao in the small blinds.

A paired flop {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} came and Dao bet, called by O'Hara. Both checked on the {7-Spades} turn.

When the {6-Spades} completed the board, Dao bet for 60,000 and O'Hara quickly called. Dao tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for queen-high and the pot was sent to O'Hara with {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a pair of six on the river.

Chad Eveslage Eliminated in 4th Place ($38,561)

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

It folded to Alain Alinat on the button who raised and Chad Eveslage three-bet from the big blind. Alinat called.

Things escalated quickly on the flop {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Eveslage bet and faced a raise from Alinat. Eveslage three-bet and Alinat quickly four-bet to 120,000. Eveslage pushed all in for 148,000 total and Alinat completed.

Chad Eveslage: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Alain Alinat: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Eveslage had two pair while Alinat had a flush draw and hit a {9-Hearts} on the turn. Eveslage got eliminated after the {3-Hearts} completed the board and made his way to the cashier.

O'Hara Takes Big from Dao

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Tu Dao raised on the button and Ian O'Hara called in the blinds to see a flop {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. O'Hara chose to check-raise Dao's continuation bet and she called.

The turn fell a {10-Clubs} and this time O'Hara bet before calling a raise from Dao. The river was the {a-Clubs} and O'Hara check-called Dao's bet. Dao showed {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and O'Hara took down the pot with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair.

Alinat and Dao Clash

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Tu Dao

A big pot unfolded just now and Alain Alinat and Tu Dao were at the center of it.

Alinat opened cutoff and Dao defended her big blind. On the {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Dao check-called Alinat's 30,000 continuation.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and here it got interesting after Alinat barreled for 60,000 and ended up calling Dao's four-bet of 240,000.

The river was a {4-Clubs} and Dao lead for 60,000, which Alinat quickly called. He couldn't beat the nuts though, which is what Dao had with {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Alain Alinat

Alain Alinat started the action with a raise on the button and it was called by Chad Eveslage in the big blind.

{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts} appeared on the flop and Alinat check-called a bet from Eveslage. Both players checked when a {7-Spades} fell on the turn.

On the {2-Clubs} river, Alinat led out for 60,000 and Eveslage eventually called but only to muck when he saw {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} in Alinat's hand for two pair.

Jan Suchanek Eliminated in 5th Place ($27,251)

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Jan Suchanek
Jan Suchanek

Jan Suchanek has been eliminated after getting it in against Ian O'Hara. All the chips went in preflop, with O'Hara raising, Suchanek three-betting, O'Hara four-betting and Suchanek five-betting for a total of 134,000.

Ian O'Hara: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Jan Suchanek: {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Suchanek was the player who needed to hit going into the {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop. The board improved Suchanek's split pot chances slightly but the {5-Diamonds} turn was very bad news, giving O'Hara a flush draw. There were only two eights left in the deck for Suchanek to hit and neither of them came on the {10-Hearts} river. O'Hara remains at the top of the counts after that elimination.
