Le Is Chipping Up

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Most of the action occurred preflop on this hand and it began when Sandeep Pulusani opened to 43,000 from under the gun. Nam Le reraised to 106,000 from middle position and then it folded around to Martin Hanowski, the small blind, who 4-bet to 200,000. Pulusani folded and Le calculatingly counted out his chips for a 5-bet to 330,000. It appeared that Hanowski was contemplating his options and chose just to call.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Le was first to act. He made it 200,000, leaving only 151,000 behind. Hanowski went into a 4-minute tank. He eventually decided to fold and even that took 20 seconds as he obviously didn't want to let go of his hand.

Rocco Five Bet Snap Folds

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mike Teltscher raised to 40,000 from under the gun +1, and action folded to Michael Rocco in the small blind. He three bet it to 110,000, and Martin Hanowski was in the big blind. He got a count on Teltscher's stack, and after a minute or so of tanking, he four bet to 210,000. Teltscher frustratingly folded his hand, and Rocco rechecked his hole cards, and wasted little time in five betting to 475,000. Hanowski starred at Rocco for a few moments before moving all in. Rocco rechecked his hole cards and folded after about three seconds.

Will Jaffe Eliminated in 13th Place ($26,807)

Will Jaffe

Michael Rocco opened to 40,000 from the button and both Martin Hanowski and Will Jaffe came along from the small and big blinds, respectively.

Martin Hanowski bet 51,000 on the {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} flop and Jaffe went into the tank and after some thought, he moved all in. Rocco quickly folded and it was Hanowski's turn to tank. He ended up making the call but he didn't seem to like it.

Hanowski: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jaffe: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Hanowski was in the lead with a pair of queens and Jaffe was on a draw. His draw did not materialize through the {q-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river and Jaffe was eliminated in 13th place.

Le: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
