Luke Vrabel Eliminated in 11th Place ($22,786)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Luke Vrabel - 11th Place
Luke Vrabel - 11th Place

Jacob Bazeley made it 24,000 to go from under the gun, and Mickey Petersen three bet it to 61,000 from the hijack. On the button, Ben Palmer moved all in for his final 374,000, and Luke Vrabel tanked in the big blind. Eventually, he called off the rest of his stack, roughly 230,000, and Bazeley and Petersen both folded.

Palmer: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Vrabel: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Vrabel had woken up with a huge hand in the big blind, but it was bad luck for him, as Palmer had the rockets. Vrabel was never able to get much of a chance built up, as the board ran down {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. After that pot, Palmer is over 700,000.

Le Gets Three Streets of Value

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Levi Berger made it 24,000 from the cutoff, and Tuan Le called on the button. The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and Berger check called abet of 30,000 from Le. On the {q-Diamonds}, Levi checked again, and Le fired out 45,000 this time. Berger called once again. The {j-Hearts} hit the river, and for a third time, Berger check called a bet from Le, this time of 75,000. Le rolled over {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair, and Berger kicked his hand in.

Gary Pearce - 12th Place

Gary Pearce had already doubled through Levi Berger once before, and he just tried to do it again after three bet shoving for his last 317,000 with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} Unfortunately for him, Berger made the call with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}, and his pair held, as the board ran down {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

Pearce will take home just over $22,000 for his efforts, while Berger wins his first pot of the day to get back to the chip lead with 1.31 million.

Peter Turmezey Eliminated in 13th Place ($17,657)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Peter Turmezey - 13th Place
Peter Turmezey - 13th Place

Peter Turmezey open shoved from the button for his last 185,000, and Scott Clements moved all in from the small blind to isolate.

Clements: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Turmezey: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

It was a classic coin flip, and Clements took a huge lead after the flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Turmezey now needed a deuce to survive, and the turn brought the {a-Spades}. The river might have given Clements a moment of fear, as it was close to a two, but it turned out to be the {3-Diamonds}.

Clements is now up to 1.42 million, and we are current redrawing for the final two tables now.

Pearce Doubles Through Berger

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Gary Pearce open shoved all in for his last 135,000 when it folded around to him in the small blind, and as soon as Levi Berger looked down at his cards, he made the call.

Berger: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Pearce: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Pearce was in rough shape, but that all changed when the dealer fanned out a {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop. Berger was now looking for a ten, but it never came, as the {q-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds} completed the board.

Pearce doubled up to 274,000, while Berger has quickly dropped 400,000 in the first thirty minutes of play today. While he still has over a million, he is no longer the leader, as Scott Clements barely has him edged out.

Bazeley Five Bet Shoves

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Clifford Goldkind made it 20,000 on the button, and it folded to Jacob Bazeley in the big blind. He put out a three bet to 52,000, and it was back to Goldkind. Not content to just call, he tanked and then put out a four bet to 96,000. Bazeley did some tanking of his own, then moved all in for last 375,000. That got the job done, as Goldkind gave up on the hand, and Bazeley took the pot to get back over half a million chips.

Peterson Rising, Le Falling

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The two biggest chip movers of the day have been Mickey Peterson and Tuan Le. Unfortunately for Le and his fans, his stack has been going nowhere but down all day. We just got him losing another pot to Scott Clements that puts Le as one of our short stacks.

Marcio Cid opened the action from under the gun to 22,000, and he was called by Scott Clements on the button and Le from the small blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and everyone checked through. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds}, and Le fired out 26,000. Clements was the lone caller, and when Le bet out 38,000 after the {5-Diamonds} hit the river, Clements called again and showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. That was good enough to beat Le, who is now down to 335,000.

On the other table, we saw Peterson and Jacob Bazeley check a heads up flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. The {k-Spades} hit the turn, and Peterson fired out 25,000. Bazeley called, and the river brought the {7-Spades}. 54,000 was the bet this time from Petersen, and again, Bazeley called. Petersen rolled over {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for top two, and Bazeley sent his hand to the dealer.
