Hand #276: Sylvia WIns with River Bet

Level 40 : 600,000/1,200,000, 200,000 ante

The button was on Greg Merson to start this hand, and he folded. Jesse Sylvia called from the small blind, and Jake Balsiger checked in the big blind. From there, the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop rolled out, and Sylvia checked. Balsiger bet 1.5 million, and Sylvia called.

The turn card was the {K-Hearts}, and Sylvia checked. Balsiger checked behind to see the {A-Diamonds} fall on the river. Sylvia reached for chips and fired in 3.75 million. Balsiger folded, and Sylvia scooped the pot.

Hand #271: Chop

Level 40 : 600,000/1,200,000, 200,000 ante

Jesse Sylvia started the hand with the button, and he raised to 2.4 million. Greg Merson called in the big blind, and the dealer fanned {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, Merson led out for three million, and Sylvia called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board, and Merson slowed down, checking to Sylvia who fired 4.6 million. Merson immediately called.

Merson tabled {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Sylvia showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and both players chopped the pot.
