Glitch in the Machine

Things are always techincally...interesting...he re at PokerNews and we've run in to a bit of a glitch with our chip count page. It's quite greedy, and doesn't seem to want to give any player more than 8,388,607 in chips (as we noticed when we tried to give Oppenheim his 9.1 million). Rest assured, it's being repaired and in the meantime we'll post the counts straight into the blog.

Hand #83 - Vladimir Schmelev

The button is with David Oppenheim in Seat 7. On the final hand before the scheduled dinner break, John Juanda raises to 175,000 before Oppenheim throws in another three-bet, this time to 575,000. Vladimir Schmelev had seen enough as he moves all in from big blind for an additional 2.955 million chips. Juanda quickly jumps out of the way as Oppenheim gives the decision some thought before releasing his hand.

Hand #82 - MIchael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi has the button in Seat 6. Vladimir Schmelev opens for 175,000, John Juanda calls from the cutoff, and Mizrachi calls.

The flop is {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and the action is checked to Mizrachi who moves all-in for his last 805,000. Both players fold and the Grinder wins the pot.

Hand #81 - David Oppenheim

The button is with John Juanda in Seat 4. He raises to 250,000 before David Oppenheim pops it to a cool million from the big blind. Juanda thinks for a moment but gives it up as Oppenheim continues his run!

Hand #80 - David Oppenheim Doubles Through Michael Mizrachi

Vladimir Schmelev has the button in Seat 3. David Oppenheim opens for 175,000 from UTG and Michael Mizrachi calls from the big blind.

The flop is {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Mizrachi checks to Oppenheim who puts out a 235,000 bet. Mizrachi raises to 735,000 and Oppenheim calls. The turn is the {8-Hearts} and Mizrachi leads out for 1,000,000. Oppenheim moves all-in and after a long think, Mizrachi calls.

Oppenheim {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Mizrachi {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The river is the {2-Spades} and Oppenheim doubles up, taking a huge chunk out of Mizrachi's stack.

Team Mizrachi has been silenced for the moment.
