Break...Again

Despite playing just 35 minutes in that session to bring us to the end of the level, we're now taking another break. It was suggested by the TD to play through, or even reduce the length of the break, but the players, particularly David Oppenheim, were keen to enjoy the wonders that a full twenty minute break provides. Be back soon!

Hand #99 - Vladimir Schmelev

The button is with Michael Mizrachi in Seat 6. Mizrachi folds and David Oppenheim raises it up an unknown amount from the small blind with Vladimir Schmelev calling in the big blind.

The flop lands {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and both players check. The turn is the {7-Spades} and Oppenheim fires 120,000. Schmelev makes the call.

The river lands the {4-Diamonds} and Oppenheim checks to Schmelev who releases 325,000. Oppenheim folds and Schmelev takes it down.

Hand #98 - David Oppenheim

Vladimir Schmelev has the button in Seat 3. Michael Mizrachi completes the small blind and David Oppenheim checks his option.

The flop is {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Mizrachi bets 100,000 and Oppenheim calls. Both players check the {2-Clubs} on the turn. Mizrachi leads at the {8-Spades} on the river for 150,000, Oppenheim makes it 450,000. Mizrachi gives up his hand and Oppenheim takes it down.

Hand #97 - David Oppenheim

The button is with David Oppenheim in Seat 7. Oppenheim raises to 175,000 from the button and Michael Mizrachi calls in the big blind.

The flop of {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} brings checks from both players and the {A-Clubs} hits the turn. Again both players check and the {6-Diamonds} falls on the river.

Unfortunately the river action is unclear and not announced, but the pot is pushed towards Oppenheim - we assume as the result of a bet that was uncalled.

John Juanda Eliminated in 4th Place ($436,856)

John Juanda, 4th Place
John Juanda, 4th Place

Hand #96 -

Michael Mizrachi has the button in Seat 6. John Juanda moves all in for 1,365,000 and Vladimir Schmelev calls.

Juanda {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Schmelev {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop leaves Juanda drawing extremely thin. The turn is the {3-Clubs}, the river is the {Q-Clubs} and Juanda's quest for his fifth bracelet comes to an end…for now. He'll take home $436,865.

Tech-Tilt

Yes folks, seems like the chip count feature is upset that Robbie Mizrachi has busted. We'll be maintaining the counts within in the blog until the system cools down.
