Lunkin Making Moves

Josh Arieh limped into the pot as did Richard Austin on the button. Vitaly Lunkin checked his option in the big blind and they saw a flop of {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The action was checked to Austin on the button who fired 80,000. Lunkin then announced a pot-sized check-raise making it an additional 265,000 to go. Arieh folded as did Austin and Lunkin takes it down.

Greenstein Picks Up Some More

It's folded to Barry Greenstein in the hijack who makes it 90,000 and Josh Arieh calls in the cutoff.

The flop is a possible action inducing {J-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} and Greenstein fires out 130,000. Arieh has a slightly forlorn look on his face as though his hand was a lot better preflop than postflop and he mucks.

Gabriellson Fires Three Barrels

Once again it was Ferit Gabriellson opening the action with a raise to 80,000. Josh Arieh made the call in the small blind and they took a heads-up flop of {5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Arieh checked to Gabriellson who fired 110,000. Arieh made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Arieh checked the action over to Gabriellson who fired a rarely-seen second barrel worth 300,000. Arieh cut down his chips and slid the call into the middle.

The river bricked the {2-Hearts} and Arieh checked to Gabriellson who quickly moved all in for his last 340,000. Arieh rocked back in his chair, sighed and threw his cards into the muck.

Perhaps in an attempt to get Arieh back for his earlier bluff, Gabriellson flashed a meaningless {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}-X-X.

Enough Houses To Make A Terrace

How Swede It Is...
How Swede It Is...
Josh Arieh limps for 30,009 and Lunkin limps behind. Gabriellson comes along from the small blind and Graham checks.

The flop of {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} is checked around, the same thing occurs with the {6-Hearts} turn and all four players make it to the {K-Clubs} river.

Gabriellson leads out for the pot (120,000) at this point, Arieh calls but has to muck when the Swede shows him {K-Spades} {6-Spades} {3-Hearts} {2-Hearts} for a pick of several full houses, all of which win.

Keston Applies Pressure

Josh Arieh limped in from middle position before Stefan Mattsson raised the size of the pot to 135,000. Play then folded to Robin Keston who raised the pot from the small blind. Arieh folded and it was an additional 330,000 back to Mattsson. He pondered for a moment before releasing as Keston collected a nice pot.

Another One For Lunkin

Lunkin Good?
Lunkin Good?
Josh Arieh, Stefan Mattsson and Van Marcus all limp in and Lunkin checks his option.

The flop is {6-Spades} {2-Spades} {10-Diamonds}, Marcus checks and the Russian quickly bets the pot of 120,000.

Arieh makes the call and the other two fold.

The turn is the {9-Diamonds} which garners a check from both players bringing us to a {J-Clubs} which is also checked.

Lunkin turns over {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} for a flopped set which is good enough as Arieh mucks.

Austin Wins Small One

Robin Keston limped into the pot, Richard Austin completed the small blind and Van Marcus checked in the big blind.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Austin led out with a bet of 37,000. Marcus folded and Keston made the call. The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {4-Spades} fell on the river and again both checked.

Austin tabled {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} for two pair to take it down.

Battle of the Bullets

Austin and Lunkin limp in, Matt Graham limps the small blind and then Barry Greenstein makes it 150,000 to play.

Austin calls, Lunkin folds and then unexpectedly Matt Graham reraises the pot from the small blind for 496,000. Greenstein moves all in, Austin folds and Graham calls.

Graham: {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {5-Clubs}
Greenstein: {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {5-Spades}

The board comes {6-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades} to chop though Graham had the slightly better freeroll after the flop (A 10 or running clubs - plus a 5 after the turn, Greenstein needed running K-Q or J-J). They chop the pot up, both making 90,000 worth of profit.

Graham Wins Blind Battle

The action folded around to Ferit Gabriellson in the small blind who completed and Matt Graham checked his option in the big blind.

The flop of {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} was checked by both players and the free card on the turn was the {2-Hearts}.

Gabriellson fired out 30,000 and Graham called. The river was the {10-Spades} and Gabriellson checked to Graham who tossed out 96,000 chips. Gabriellson once again took his time in reaching a decision before making the call.

Graham revealed {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts} for the six-high straight to take it down as Gabriellson flashed {A-?}{4-?} for the wheel and mucked.

Russian Away With Van's Chips

It's the Final Countdown...
It's the Final Countdown...
Van Marcus raises to 65,000 and Vitaly Lunkin reraises the pot from the button making it 175,000 more. Marcus debates it for a a minute as it looks as though it will cost him half his stack to see a flop.

He relents though and gives it up, taps the table and says, "Nice hand."
