Hand #56 - Isaac Haxton

Vitaly Lunkin has the button in Seat 9. Isaac Haxton completes the small blind and Greg Raymer checks his option.

The flop is {K-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {6-Diamonds}. Haxton leads out for 175,000, Raymer mucks, and Haxton wins the pot.

Hand #55 - Isaac Haxton, Greg Raymer

Dani Stern has the button in Seat 8. Greg Raymer opens for 250,000 and Isaac Haxton calls from the big blind.

The flop is {9-Hearts} {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds}. Haxton checks to Raymer, who checks behind. The turn falls the {9-Diamonds} and Haxton checks again. Raymer bets 350,000 and Haxton calls. The river is the {9-Spades}, putting a full house on board. Haxton checks and Raymer bets 750,000. Haxton tanks for several minutes before making the call.

Haxton shows {A-?} {Q-?}, Raymer shows {7-Hearts} {8-Hearts} and they chop the pot.

What Will Be the Fate of the Fossil?

Raymer, glasses, chips, and fossil
Raymer, glasses, chips, and fossil
As is his custom, Greg Raymer is using a fossil as a card protector during this event -- in this instance, a largish, beige-colored, fossilized sand dollar (see near his left hand).

Raymer has said he plans to use a different fossil in each event at this year's WSOP. Then, when he is eliminated from a tournament, Raymer plans to sign the fossil and note the event and give it to the player who busts him.

What happens if he wins the tourney? Raymer has said he will then mount the fossil on his mantle as a memento of the event.

Just four players left with a chance to take the bracelet -- and the fossil -- away from Raymer. Raymer currently remains the chip leader with 7.24 million, with Vitaly Lunkin his nearest foe with 6.69 million.

Hand #54 - Vitaly Lunkin

Justin Bonomo has the button in Seat 6. Greg Raymer raises to 250,000 from the cutoff, Bonomo reraises to 700,000, and after capping his cards and donning his sunglasses, Vitaly Lunkin four-bets to 2,000,000 from the big blind. Raymer gets out of the way, Bonomo folds, and Lunkin takes it down, elating his railbirds.

Hand #53 - Isaac Haxton

Greg Raymer has the button in Seat 5. Isaac Haxton opens for 225,000, Raymer calls and the blinds fold.

The flop is {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} and Haxton leads out for 500,000. Raymer folds and Haxton wins the pot.

Hand #52 - Alec Torelli Eliminated in 6th Place ($329,730)

Alec Torelli - 6th Place
Alec Torelli - 6th Place
Isaac Haxton has the button in Seat 4. Alec Torelli open-shoves from the cutoff for 1,055,000, and Haxton calls.

Torelli {A-Hearts} {2-Hearts}
Haxton {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds}

The flop is great for Haxton coming down {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}. The turn is the {Q-Spades}, giving Torelli some outs to a chop, but the river is the {5-Spades} and Torelli is eliminated in 6th place. He'll take home $329,730 for his efforts.

Haxton is now up to approximately 4.6 million.
