The action started with an open on the button for 25,000 from Hassan Fares, called by Thierry Morel. Carlos moved his last 27,000 in the middle and the other players completed.

It was checked all the way through the board {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and Fares won the pot with {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for Morel. Carlos mucked his hand and left the table.

On a limped pot, four players were involved and the flop showed {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} when Hassan Nashar in the small blind checked, followed by David Tavernier, Mark Rostron, and David Duoek.

The turn brought a {2-Spades} and Tavernier bet 40,000 after a check from Nashar. Only Rostron made the call.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and both players checked. Rostron showed {a-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens, but Tavernier took down the pot with {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for two pair.

Fast and Furious Eliminations

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The return of the break has been bloody as Achille Voltilona got eliminated by Thierry Morel, who was holding Aces in a preflop confrontation Aces. Then the Spanish players Jose Luis and Benji got eliminated as well in a few minutes.

Mathieu Papineau, on feature table, moved all in from the button with {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and a stack around 110,000. Jean-Jacques Zeitoun snap-called from the small blind with a better hand, {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The board bricked and Papineau made his way to the exit.

Two minutes later, Alexandre De Zutter went all-in preflop for his remaining 225,000 against David Tavernier who made the call with a slightly bigger stack to create the following showdown:

Alexandre De Zutter: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
David Tavernier: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

De Zutter was in desperate shape to survive but the board {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts} brought him no help.
