Missy Bartelme
Missy Bartelme

Missy Bartelme came into Day 2 second in chips and she has continued to add to her stack.

In a multi-way pot Bartelme, first to act, checked her option from her big blind on a {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop. After a bet of 18,000 and a call Bartelme then put in a hefty check-raise to 85,000 that was more than enough to take down the pot.

Henry Off to a Hot Start

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Hanson Henry
Hanson Henry

Hanson Henry began Day 2 with 154,500 and he's already nearly tripled that here in the early goings.

In a recent hand, Veselin Dimitrov raised to 13,000 from the under-the-gun position and Henry called from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and it was heads-up action to the flop, which came down {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Dimitrov continued for 15,000 and Henry immediately min-raised to 30,000.

That did the trick as Dimitrov released his hand.

Missed Flush Still Good

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

After a series of raises on a {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop in a headsup pot Manfred Jaschkowitz moved all in and was called by Anthony An.

Manfred Jaschkowitz: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Anthony An: {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

An was drawing to the king-high flush, which would be no good because Jaschkowitz was drawing to the nutflush. The board ran out {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Jaschkowitz scored a big double-up with A-high.

McConachie Shoves Early

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

After three players, including the small-blind player, limped in front of him David McConachie decided that it was a good spot to shove from his big blind.

The other four players sending their cards to the muck proved that it was a good decision, and McConachie added some much-needed chips to his stack early on Day 2.
