Kevin Boudreau opened to 150,000 under the gun, and John Beauprez called from middle position. Boudreau bet 200,000 on the flop, then 300,000 on the turn. His river barrel was 600,000, and Beauprez went into the tank.

Reza Yazdi opened for 125,000 under the gun and was called by Shawn Sandt to his left. Yazdi fired 150,000 on the flop, and Sandt called. A hit the turn, and Yazdi thought a long time before shoving for 795,000 effective. Sandt thought for awhile as well, and he mucked face-up.
Reza Yazdi opened for a raise in the hijack and was called by both Geoff Vail on the button and Kevin Boudreau in the blinds. On the flop, Boudreau checked to Yazdi, who fired 200,000. Vail moved all in for 805,000, and Boudreau shoved as well for about 1.4 million. Yazdi thought for awhile and mucked a face-up.

He was right, as Boudreau had flopped a set with , while Vail had just for a gutshot. No fours showed up as the and ended Vail's tournament.
Kevin Boudreau made it 100,000 to go from the hijack and Michael St. John defended his big blind. St. John then led out 200,000 on the flop, and Boudreau said he was all in. It was 610,000 total, and St. John called.

Yazdi continuation-bet the flop for 215,000, and only Boudreau called. He then called another bulet of 325,000 on the turn. Action went check-check on the river, and Yazdi turned up , which Boudreau couldn't beat.
