The biggest buy-in tournament of the Run It Up Reno VIII – the $1,100 Thursday Thrilla – started with 178 entries battling it out at the Peppermill Casino. Today, the final eight will return to play down to a winner with Katie Lindsay and her stack of 1.104 million leading the way.
That’s nearly a third of the chips in play, more than double her next closest competition. You might recall that earlier this year Lindsay, the wife of poker pro and online poker’s winningest tournament player Chris Moorman, was a guest on the LFG Podcast, which you can listen to here.
Joining her at the final table are Timothy Guilford (497,000), Frank Lagodich (413,000), Fintan “Easy with Aces” Hand (127,000), and Max Brown (140,000), who has already improved upon his 15th-place finish in this same event last year.
Remember, each player at the table has a $500 bounty on their head.
