Max Brown Eliminated in 4th Place ($6,650)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Max Brown - 4th Place
Max Brown - 4th Place

In the hand after Derek Frye busted, Adin Cota opened for 33,000 under the gun and Timothy Guilford moved all in for 167,000 from the cutoff. Max Brown then jammed all in over the top for 763,000 from the small blind and Cota quickly called to put both players at risk.

Cota: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Brown: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Guilford: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} and Guilford wound up with a flush to triple while Cota collected Brown's $500 bounty. It marked back-to-back Thursday Thrilla cashes for Brown, who finished 15th in this tournament last year.

Derek Frye Eliminated in 5th Place ($5,250)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Derek Frye - 5th Place
Derek Frye - 5th Place

Timothy Guilford raised to 35,000 from the button and Derek Frye moved all in for 149,000 from the small blind. Max Brown jammed over the top from the big and Guilford got out of the way.

Frye: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Brown: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop paired Brown and left Frye looking for runner-runner, but the {3-Diamonds} took away any chance of that happening.

The meaningless {9-Spades} was run out on the river and Frye hit the rail, which in turn gave Brown the $500 bounty.

River Diamond Saves Lindsay Some Chips

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action folded to Max Brown in the small blind and he limped holding the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Katie Lindsay checked her option with the {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the flop came down {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Brown check-called a bet of 20,000 and the action {5-Diamonds} spiked on the turn. Brown checked his flush and just called a bet of 60,000 from Lindsay, who turned a straight.

The {q-Diamonds} river put four diamonds on board and Brown checked. Lindsay slowed down and checked behind, which saved her some chips as Brown claimed the pot.

Frank Lagodich - 6th Place

Frank Lagodich was all in preflop for his last 129,000 and looking to get lucky against Derek Frye.

Frye: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Lagodich: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Lindsay Takes a Chunk from Lagodich

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Frank Lagodich raised to 27,000 holding the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} under the gun and Katie Lindsay flatted the button with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Adin Cota came along from the small blind with the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and the trio watched the flop fall {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Cota checked, Lagodich continued for 35,000, and Lindsay just called with her set. Cota got out of the way and the {7-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Lagodich check-called a 75,000 bet and then checked the {9-Clubs} river.

Lindsay bet 200,000 and Lagodich paid it off.
