Martin Shoves for the Win

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Deven Lane was under the gun when he made it 1,200 to go. Michael Rose called from the cutoff and Ron Lauzon called from the button before Suzanne Martin raised it up to 4,000. Lane and Rose mucked their hands, but Lauzon was sticky with a call.

The flop came {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Martin shoved all in for 5,200. Lauzon went into the tank for a bit but ultimately elected to fold.

Lane Defends Big Blind

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action opened with a limp from middle position, and both blinds called, including Deven Lane in the big. Action checked around on the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop.

The turn came {j-Clubs} and after check from the small blind, Lane tossed 300 chips into the middle. "Nice try Sir," Ron Lauzon joked when the dealer corrected Lane, reminding him that the minimum bet was 400. He made it 400, and got the call from the middle position, but a fold from the small blind.

The river came {2-Spades} and Lane fired out a bet of 1,050, which was enough to get him the hand without showdown.

Lauzon's Line Turns Passive

Level 5 : 150/300, 300 ante

Ron Lauzon, fresh off his 13th place finish in the $600 NLHE, opened the pot from early position with a bet of 1,000. He was called in three spots, including Deven Lane in the cutoff, and Dylan Ellis in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and action checked around. The same lack of action occurred on the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} turn and river as well, but when Lauzon showed down pocket jacks, the rest of the table got out of the way allowing him to collect the pot.
