Kisacikoglu Gets One Through?

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Action folded around to Fedor Holz in the small blind, who limped for 4,000 and sent the action over to Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind, who raised it up to 16,000.

Holz made the call and they went heads-up to a flop of {4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Holz check-called a continuation bet of 12,000 from Kisacikoglu and saw the {2-Hearts} on the turn.

After another check from Holz, Kisacikoglu made it a little bigger this time with a 45,000 bet, but Holz made the call again.

The river came the {10-Hearts} and Holz checked to his opponent once more, who fired a third time for 155,000.

Holz went deep into the tank to consider this bet, as it was the majority of his remaining stack. After using two time banks, he eventually slid his cards into the middle and the pot was awarded to Kisacikoglu, who couldn't help but crack a smile.

"I don't know if I like your reaction very much," Holz smiled back at him, insinuating he may have been bluffed.

Kisacikoglu just kept smiling as he stacked his chips, padding his lead.

Sam Greenwood bet 8,000 on the {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and was called by David Yan in the small blind. Christoph Vogelsang then raised from the big blind to 26,000 and Greenwood quickly folded.

Yan took some time before sliding in enough chips to put Vogelsang at risk, and the call was made.

Christoph Vogelsang: {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
David Yan: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Vogelsang trailed and was unable to find any help on the {5-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river, as Yan added a big pot to his stack.

At the other table, Fedor Holz got off to a fast start, doubling his stack after his {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} found a flush on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} runout.

Peters Chips Up; Holz and Selouan Enter

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of {6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, David Peters bet 21,000 into the sizeable pot of around 40,000.

His opponent, Chris Hunichen thought for only a moment before tossing in a chip to make the call. He was then shown {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} by Peters for two pair, aces and kings, and Hunichen mucked his hand. Peters now has over 300,000 and is second only to Orpen Kisacikoglu.

Meanwhile, two new players registered into the tournament, Rodrigo Selouan and Fedor Holz.

Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

After a raise from Christoph Vogelsang on a heads-up flop of {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Chris Hunichen made the call and the two players saw the {5-Hearts} on the turn.

Vogelsang continued for 10,000 and Hunichen made the call, which brought them to the river {j-Spades}.

After some thought, Vogelsang bet 15,500, leaving only 500 behind. Hunichen thought about it for a second but ended up making the call.

"Pair of kings," Vogelsang announced as he tabled {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, which was good enough to win the pot for a double up as Hunichen mucked his hand.
