Diogo Veiga Eliminated in 11th Place (CA$25,000)

Level 20 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante
Diogo Veiga
Diogo Veiga

David Lopez moved all in and Diogo Veiga called all in for less, the two turned over their hands.

Veiga: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Lopez: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came down beautifully for Lopez as the dealer turned over {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, giving him two pair. A {2-Hearts} on the turn and {7-Diamonds} as a river changed nothing, Veiga was eliminated from the tournament in 11th place for $25,000.

Bubble Pops, Grospellier on the Losing End

Level 20 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante

Maria Ho moved all in for 1,845,000 from the hijack, Bertrand Grospellier shoved all in over the top from the cutoff for around 3,650,00 and Anatoly Filatov called both in the small blind, the three players turned over their hands.

Ho: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Grospellier: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Filatov: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Spades}, Filatov took a commanding lead and was looking like he would send two home. A {3-Spades} peeled off on the turn, giving Ho a flush draw. The river came down an {8-Spades}, completing the flush for Ho for the main pot. Filatov's two pair took down the side pot and Grospellier was eliminated as the bubble boy. All players are now guaranteed at least a min-cash of CA$25,000.
