Platt Hits the Rail on Final Hand of The Night

With the field down to seven players in Flight B and after about an hour of chip jostling, just one more elimination was needed to end the day.

Jeff Platt was the short stack and moved all in preflop. Jonathan Milligan re-shoved his larger stack and everyone else folded.

Platt held the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} against the {a-}{3-} of Milligan.

The board ran out {k-}{q-}{q-}{10-}{3-} and Platt became the last victim of the night as the field was down to the final six to move on to Day 2.

Platt Takes Out Alexander

DJ Alexander was spotted collecting his things and standing up as he had just been busted by Jeff Platt. The cards showed with Platt having the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} against the {10-}{10-} of Alexander with a queen on a flop of {q-}{6-}{7-}. The turn and river were unable to help Alexander and he was busted shortly before the end of Flight B's registration period.
