Julien Sitbon Eliminated in 11th Place (12,000)

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Julien Sitbon made it 160,000 to go from under the gun and once more left exactly one T-5,000 chip behind. Mauricio Ferreira Pais in the small blind asked for a count to then push all-in and Ren Lin glanced at his cards before folding the {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} face-up.

"Don't do this bro, don't show this hand," Sitbon sighed but with a smirk on the face before he called and exposed the same combo.

Julien Sitbon: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Mauricio Ferreira Pais: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

"Don't worry bro, you will still win," Lin added. The {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop left Sitbon on thin ice as he needed a queen or running cards to survive. One of them came with the {j-Spades} turn but the {8-Hearts} river was a blank. Sitbon's tournament ended in 11th place for a cash prize of 12,000. He had also collected another three bounties for 20,000 prior to that.

Jamil Wakil Eliminated in 12th Place (10,000)

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Jamil Wakil shoved all in on the short stack with a little over 300,000 from the cutoff. Kayhan Mokri re-shoved all in from the small blind and the big blind stepped aside.

Jamil Wakil: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Kayhan Mokri: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Wakil found himself dominated and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} gave Mokri two pair. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn left Wakil drawing dead to the {4-Hearts} on the river.

Sitbon Denied a Double

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Julien Sitbon raised to 120,000 on the button, leaving one single T-5,000 chip behind. Nikita Kuznetsov then used two time bank extensions before pulling the same trick out of the small blind with a raise to around 370,000.

Chip leader Pedro Garagnani pondered about it for just a few seconds and folded.

Julien Sitbon: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Nikita Kuznetsov: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

"You folded the best hand!" Ren Lin remarked to Garagnani. Both small pocket pairs had to settle for an unlikely split after the board ran out {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

"It's okay, better than a three on the river," Sitbon grinned with a smile on the face.

Wakil and Navarro Double Up

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Zhi Yi Ning raised to 60,000 in the previous level and Jamil Wakil jammed all in for 180,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Ning quickly called.

Jamil Wakil: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Zhi Yi Ning: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} to give Wakil the lead with a pair of queens. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn left Ning drawing to one out and the {a-Diamonds} on the river was not it.

Next door, Pablo Navarro raised to 200,000, leaving just 30,000 behind. Pedro Garagnani just called and the flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades} hit the felt. The rest of the money went in the middle and Navarro showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} which was ahead of Garagnani's {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

The {7-Diamonds} and {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Navarro also held on for a double-up.

A Chop and a Small Pot

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Bruno Volkmann raised on the button and Jamil Wakil called out of the big blind. On the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, Wakil check-called for 30,000 and both then checked down the {6-Hearts} turn as well as the {10-Diamonds} river. Wakil tabled the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} but Volkmann had that beat with the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

On the other table, Mauricio Ferreira Pais raised in the small blind and Ren Lin defended the big blind. They checked the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and Ferreira Pais bet the {k-Clubs} turn for 60,000, Lin called.

Lin also called a larger bet on the {7-Diamonds} river and his {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} chopped with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Ferreira Pais.

Garagnani Grabs a Monster Lead

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pedro Garagnani limped in from the small blind and Pablo Navarro checked his option. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn.

Garagnani checked again and Navarro tossed in a bet of 60,000. Garagnani check-raised to 240,000 and Navarro stuck around to see the {2-Clubs} on the river. Garagnani checked for the third time and Navarro announced a bet of 550,000. Garagnani instantly flicked in a chip to call and he caught Navarro bluffing.

Navarro quickly flashed his cards before Garagnani showed {8-Hearts}{6-Spades} for two pair to soar over 2 million chips.

Sirzat Hissou Eliminated in 13th Place (10,000)

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Sirzat Hissou
Sirzat Hissou

One hand after his double-up, Sirzat Hissou was in the big blind and defended it against a min-raise by Tom Orpaz from under the gun. The duo headed to the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop on which Hissou checked. Orpaz continued for 85,000 and instantly called the shove by his table neighbour.

Sirzat Hissou: {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Tom Orpaz: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Hissou instantly grabbed his belongings and was ready to go. No help arrived on either the {8-Hearts} turn and {a-Diamonds} river as the kicker played to eliminate the German.

Orpaz bemoaned that this was his first bounty despite being a bigger stack for a while, which he then redeemed for an extra 10,000 and filmed for Instagram.

Hissou Rivers a Straight to Double Up

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou was down to 205,000 and shoved all in from under the gun. Jamil Wakil picked up a good enough hand from the big blind and called to put Hissou at risk.

Sirzat Hissou: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Jamil Wakil: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Wakil held the lead despite Hissou picking up a straight draw. The {4-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing but the {q-Hearts} on the river gave Hissou a straight.
