Alexander Kostritsyn has just scooped a nice stud hi/lo pot against Joe Hachem. Hachem was showing and led the betting until the river, where he checked to his opponent.
Kostritsyn was showing and fired a bet which Hachem called. Kostritsyn flipped for pair of aces for the high and an eight low, which was good as Hachem sighed and mucked.
The first major pot of this final table has gone to Jeff Madsen after some interesting early street betting.
After Michael Binger was the bring-in with the , Madsen completed next to speak with the . Chris Ferguson called with the as did Alexander Kostritsyn before Tino Lechich raised to 4,000 with the . Madsen called but Ferguson then put in another raise to 6,000. Kostritsyn folded and Lechich and Madsen both called once more.
Ferguson then led the betting on fourth and fifth streets, before sixth street was checked around. When the river was dealt, Madsen was the aggressor with both opponents making the call.
