Just before the break Alexander Kostritsyn and Zac Fellows split a pot. Normally not an exciting result but Kostritsyn flipped an impressive quad jacks for the high as Fellows collected the low.
Kostritsyn heads to the break with a commanding chip lead with over 170,000 chips.
In a recent hand of stud hi/lo, Tino Lechich led the betting on fourth and fifth streets before checking sixth and seventh against Joe Hachem. The board ran out:
Lechich: () ()
Hachem: () ()
Hachem takes the hand with a flush as both players ended up going high, as Hachem curses and walks away from the table in disgust at not getting another bet in on the river.
After a slow period of razz, the game switched to stud and a short-stacked Tino Lechich found himself all in by fourth street against Jeff Madsen who made the call in an attempt to finally break this final eight. It wasn't to be, as Lechich doubled up when the board ran out as follows:
Lechich: () ()
Madsen: () ()
Madsen couldn't improve as Lechich made kings and sixes to double up. He's back to 23,000.

As Kostritsyn raked in the pot, Tino Lechich quipped, "That easy to hit sets!"
A huge four-way pot has resulted in everyone grabbing a share of the pie. Michael Binger was all in by the turn and Tino Lechich had committed his last chips by the river, with Zac Fellows and Alex Kostritsyn looking them up.
The board read and the cards were tabled:
Kostritsyn:
Fellows:
Lechich:
Binger:
Binger's set of kings held to take the high of the main pot as Kostritsyn actually made a loss with his set of sixes to collect the high of the side pot. Fellows and Lechich chopped the low as all players survived!
Alexander Kostritsyn has taken a hit in a clash with Jeff Madsen. The game was Omaha hi/lo and after a flop of things got interesting. The action was capped before the hit the turn. Kostritsyn slips to 86,000 with Madsen up to 120,000.

It hasn't been a good stud hi/lo round for Joe Hachem. After getting quartered in a pot with Chris Ferguson, the two men tangled again a few minutes later.
Hachem completed and led on fourth street before Ferguson put in the raise. Hachem called, and then led the betting again on fifth street. Ferguson called and then took over on sixth after showing a pair of aces. The river was checked down and the cards revealed:
Hachem: ()
Ferguson: ()
Ferguson had a pair of aces with a queen kicker for the high and the only low to scoop the pot as Hachem bemoaned his luck to the rail saying that his opponent had "only caught the case ace."
Hachem slips to 52,000 and will be thankful to get back to hold'em.
