2021 WSOP Day 48: Lisandro Leads Hellmuth After $10,000 Razz Championship Day 1
It was one of the busiest days at the 2021 World Series of Poker so far, with four bracelet-winners crowned, three other events in action and the final table of the 2021 WSOP Main Event continuing down to its final three.
Brian Hastings grabbed the fifth WSOP bracelet of his career in Event #73: $10,000 Stud Hi-Lo Championship, while Denis Strebkov won his second in Event #74: $2,500 Big Bet Mix. There were also maiden bracelets for David Moses in Event #70: $888 Crazy Eights, and Frenchman Romain Lewis in Event #76: $10K Super Turbo Bounty.
Meanwhile, the $1,500 Fifty Stack and $10,000 Razz Championship got underway, and a final table was reached in the $1,500 Freezeout.

Renmei Liu Leads Final Eight in Event #75: $1,500 Freezeout
Renmei Liu of Canada leads a final table of eight players at in Event #75 $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold��em at the 2021 World Series of Poker. Liu bagged a stack of 7,100,000, sitting well ahead of Nicholas Hubers (5,600,000), Kaue De Souza (4,540,0000) and Chad Himmelspach (3,910,000).
The freezeout event attracted 1,191 players and generated a total prize pool of $1,589,985, of which $270,877 will go to the first-place finisher, along with the coveted gold bracelet.
Liu, who also ended Day 1 as chip leader, is after his first WSOP bracelet. The Canadian has just $2,390 in lifetime WSOP earnings and already has a minimum cash of $22,986 locked up. Hubers and De Souza, who respectively finished the day second and third and chips, are both also looking for their first bracelets.

Jeff Lisandro Leads After Day 1 of Event #78: $10,000 Razz Championship
Day 1 of Event #78: $10,000 Razz Championship has been played to completion with Jeff Lisandro emerging as the current chip leader after bagging 270,500 in chips. Lisandro, who has been largely absent during the 2021 World Series of Poker, was able to steadily accumulate his stack throughout the day and will be looking to make a run at winning his seventh gold bracelet.
Day 1 drew a total of 103 entries with no shortage of big names, as is the case in all championship events. Some notables who managed to bag into Day 2 include Jordan Siegel (200,000), Adam Owen (178,000), Brian Hastings (212,000), Yehuda Buchalter (163,500), James Chen (94,000), Allen Kessler (41,000), and 16-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth �� who is among the chip leaders with 237,500.

Ryan Depaulo Leads After Day 1 of Event #77: $1,500 Fifty Stack
Day 1 in Event #77: $1,500 Fifty Stack No-Limit Hold'em has come to an end with just 114 players remaining. Just 226 of the 1,501 entries made it in the money, and the remaining field are all guaranteed $3,194.
Among the top stacks is former WSOP bracelet winner Ryan Depaulo (2,735,000) who has over $300K in live earnings and will be looking to make a deep run to get bracelet number two. Joining him are John Gorsoch (1,525,000), Iakyu Chot (1,450,000), Kevin Theodore (1,410,000) and Roongszk Griffeth (1,375,000).
This event drew a few notables such as five-time bracelet winner Shaun Deeb, three-time WSOP bracelet winner Adrian Mateo, two-time WSOP Bracelet winner Michael Wang, Women Hall of Famer Kathy Liebert, the 2013 Main Event Champion Ryan Riess and 2020 Main Event Champ Damian Salas who bagged at the end of the night.
