Final Table Action
The first final table casualty was Nir Peleg, who jammed with king-jack and was up against Reyes ace-seven. Peleg flopped top pair to take the lead but Reyes caught runner-runner to make a straight.
From there, Eitan Aloush grew short and eventually jammed holding king-ten. Aleksandr Shevelev woke up with ace-queen and Aloush failed to get there to fall in fifth place. Not long after, Nicolas Alberto Kohan followed him out the door in fourth after flopping top pair and calling off on the river only to see Shevelev roll over a turned heart flush.
Three-handed play lasted for more than 4.5 hours with the triumvirate taking turns with the chip lead. Eventually, Zachary Hammons four-bet all in with ace-eight and got snap-called by Shevelev, who had three-bet with queens. Hammons got lucky to flop an ace and Shevelev would bow out in third place three hands later.
Heads-up play began with Hammons holding a slight chip lead over Reyes, but the latter doubled big getting lucky with ace-jack against ace-king all in preflop. Not long after it ended when Hammons flopped second pair and Reyes top pair.
