In addition, the last team qualifier standing will win 100 points for their team.

On Day 1C, two players from the 8-Team Competition hit the rail in Team UK wingman Niall Farrell and Team Canada qualifier Jonathan Schaler.

On the flip side, not one did better than Team UK 888poker qualifier Billy Chattaway, who bagged up 110,900 to earn a 30-point bonus for his team.

Farrell had a rough go of it on Day 1C, but one bright spot was a double in Level 4 (200/400/50). It happened when he shoved his last 6,225 from middle position. He received a call from the player next to act and then the big blind folded while showing the J?J?.

Farrell celebrated, saying: "It's good because I need this one," and showed the ace of spades. He turned the other card as well and it became apparent he was all in with A?5? against K?Q?.

"Ooooh, I'm ahead!" Farrell exclaimed before thinking he may have just jinxed himself. "Oh, that was bad. Now I'm out.

The 8?3?9? flop gave his opponent a flush draw but neither the 6? turn nor 6? river completed it.

"Oh my god, no f****** way!" said Farrell, who wound up busting shortly thereafter.
