The $21,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max High Roller event of the 2016 PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) saw 143 entries processed and a $2,931,500 prize pool created. A huge slice of that money, $718,217.50, is now nestled in the PokerStars account of Dario "Secret_M0d3" Sammartino.

Sammartino defeated Henrik "hhecklen" Hecklen heads up to leave Hecklen with the $498,355 runner-up prize. Fourteen others shared the mammoth-sized prize pool, each walking away with the amounts shown in the table below:

Big Scores in Non-SCOOP Events

There were some big scores enjoyed in standard PokerStars Sunday tournaments as well, particularly the $110,250 that "daskalos20" won for taking down the Sunday Grand. Another was the $64,780 awarded to "Fresh_oO_D" who triumphed in the pot-limit Omaha edition of the Sunday Grand.

  • Nicolas "Legadzo" Cardyn �� won the Big $215 for $38,816.90
  • "Keiruja" �� won the Sunday Cooldown for $30,416.80
  • "SuchADegen" �� won the Sunday Supersonic for $51,4693.70
  • "MountainRo$e" �� won the Hot $215 for $27,084.95

Patrick Leonard Wins a Powerfest Event

Patrick Leonard, the newest member of partypoker's ambassadors, won the $200,000 guaranteed High Roller this week and banked $48,549.68 for his efforts.

Four other partypoker tournaments boasted of guarantees larger than $100,000 on Sunday, including the $300,000 guaranteed High Roller won by "Gargurgel" for $55,141.50. Another was the $250,000 guaranteed won by "gingasnapped" for $39,460.

Additionally, two more were the $100,000 guaranteed Super High Roller and the $100,000 guaranteed freezeout won by "WWWpartyCOM" for $49,787.11 and "DONKAROO1" for $20,230.38, respectively.

Sebastian Sikorski Secures an 888poker Super XL Title

Over at 888poker, the Super XL series was in full swing and the legendary grinder Sebastian "p000cket000" Sikorski took down the $200,000 Super Whale for $43,134.20 following a three-way chop.

Other winners included "jewelrunna" in the $150,000 Super Mega Deep for $33,786.98, "EvnomiYa" in the $60,000 Turbo Mega Deep for $13,235.40, "ncqqqqqq" in the $250,000 Opening Event for $56,725.06, and "Ozzy_M" in the $110,000 Sunday Challenge for $17,927.52.
