Winter, Nitsche, Kaverman, Petrangelo Cap Off Summer with Bellagio Cup Four-Way Chop
The World Series of Poker might've been the biggest game in Las Vegas this summer, but it wasn't the only one. On Tuesday, the Bellagio Cup XI $10,400 Championship concluded following a four-way deal between Sean Winter, Dominik Nitsche, Byron Kaverman, and Nick Petrangelo.
The event attracted 301 entries and generated a prize pool of over $2.9 million. The top 36 places were paid, and the final table results were posted as follows:

Winter walked away with the top prize of $562,772, Nitsche earned $479,732, Kaverman scored $409,219, and Petrangelo won $321,994. For each of them, this result capped off an amazing summer had by all.
With the lion's share of the prize money in his pocket and the trophy in his hands, Winter was the tournament's official champion. Just a few days before this big result, the Jacksonville, Florida, native finished in 606th place in the WSOP Main Event. Winter also had a 15th-place finish in the tough $10,000 Six-Max No-Limit Hold'em Championship at the Series. All told, Winter had a hot two months of poker that saw him earn over $600,000 in prize money.
For Nitsche, the tournament's second-place finisher, he cashed six times at the WSOP for over $240,000. His best result from the Series was a third-place finish in the $5,000 Eight-Max No-Limit Hold'em event for $220,657. Add his WSOP prize money to this Bellagio result, and Nitsche earned over $720,000 this summer.
Kaverman placed third and once again put on an impressive showing, but that's nothing new for him this summer. At the WSOP, Kaverman cashed four times, placing ninth, 12th, first, and 12th in events. In the $10,000 Six-Max No-Limit Hold'em Championship, Kaverman proved the last man standing and earned his first gold bracelet worth $657,351. He also cashed the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop for $332,593. In total, Kaverman won almost $1.5 million this summer.
Last but not least was Petrangelo, who, like Kaverman, won his first WSOP gold bracelet this summer. Petrangelo scooped the title in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout event for $201,812. He also cashed in the WSOP Main Event in 552nd place. These three results netted Petrangelo over $540,000.
Others to cash in the event included John Gale (12th - $37,956), Noah Schwartz (13th - $30,657), Galen Hall (17th - $26,277), Connor Drinan (19th - $21,898), and Anthony Zinno (28th - $18,978).
