On Thursday, the bwin World Poker Tour Prague Main Event continued as 63 players returned to the Card Casino Prague for Day 3. By the end of the day, just 21 players remained in contention for the title with Serbian pro Ognjen Sekularac leading the way. Sekularac had a roller coaster of a day before finally finishing on top of the chip counts. Fairly early on in the day, he was all in for his last 85,000 and won a race with pocket eights against Scott Augustine to find a double. Soon after, he doubled again and this time it was at the hands of Kara Scott. In this crucial hand, Scott three-bet before the flop to 35,000 at 2,500/5,000/500 and was called by Sekularac and Micha Hoedemaker. The flop came 9?7?5? and Scott fired 43,000. Sekularac called and Hoedemaker folded. The K? turned and Scott bet 80,000. Sekularac announced an all in bet and Scott called. She showed 10?10? but was ultimately behind Sekularac's 9?9? for a flopped set of nines. The K? hit the river and Sekularac was able to double to around 450,000 while Scott fell to 233,500.

Soon after, David Peters was eliminated on the bubble. On Peters' final hand, he moved all in from the small blind for approximately 60,000. Ryan Spittles called from the big blind and the hands were shown.

Peters: A?10?
Spittles: 10?10?

Peters was looking for an ace heading to the community cards, but could not find one as the board fell K?8?4?J?2?. Peters' elimination guaranteed each of the remaining 36 players at least $8,258 in prize money.

Notable players who fall in the money included Martin Staszko (30th), Yann Dion (28th), Hoedemaker (26th), Sam Cohen (24th), Kevin MacPhee (23rd), and Kara Scott (22nd).

The final 21 players returned at 2 p.m. local time Friday to play down to a final table of six. Be sure to check back on PokerNews for a recap of the all of the excitement at the end of the day!
