FTOPS XXII Day 11: "Specunder" Wins $57,500 in Two-Hour Super Turbo
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXII continued Wednesday with three more events from the 38-event schedule �� Event #27: Pot-Limit Omaha Heads-Up; Event #28: No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max w/ Rebuys; and Event #29: No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Knockout Re-Entry.
Action on Wednesday saw another change atop the FTOPS XXII Leader Board as "galinka02" from Poland made the final table of Event #27 to take with overall lead in the standings with 634 points. Also making the final table of that event was Mark "xqsays" Radoja, who took runner-up to move into second on the leaderboard. Radjoka lost heads-up to "juergensuz" for the $15,214 top prize.
Eduardo "n00ki5" Carvalho of Brazil took down Event #28 a few hours later, earning $47,988 and his first FTOPS jersey. Carvalho bested former FTOPS champ "extassyman" for the title. Tommy "TMoney209" Miller also made the six-handed final table and collected $17,186 for his fifth-place finish.
The final event on the Wednesday FTOPS slate was Event #29, a $322 Super Turbo Knockout which lasted just 2 hours and 17 minutes. Each player began with 300 chips (10 big blinds), resulting in the shortest tournament of the series thus far. "Specunder" was the last player standing from the field of 939 after topping Chris "d0r1t0s" McClung in heads-up play. Also making the final table were Charlie "chaz_man_chaz" Combes and Ilya "ilushan" Gorodetsky.
