Poker Celebrities Come Out to Play the Gavin Smith Memorial Poker Tournament

This past January, the poker community lost one of its brightest stars. Gavin Smith passed away suddenly at the age of 50. The poker community rallied together and organized the Gavin Smith Memorial Poker Tournament to raise funds for the two sons Gavin left behind.
The night before the start of the World Series of Poker, the Rio held a $200 buy-in poker tournament raising money for the Gavin Smith Memorial Trust. Gavin's friends and fellow poker players Todd Brunson, Jason Somerville, Layne Flack, Jeff Madsen, Phil Hellmuth, Erick Lindgren, and others drank some greyhounds and raised money for this great cause.
