Queens Hold For Moran
Level 21
: 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Dan "the man" Moran opened to 40,000 from under the gun and a short stacked player in early position moved all in. A player in middle position then raised to 100,000 and action folded back around to Moran. After some thought, Moran announced all in for around 800,000. His opponent seemed tempted to call and bemoaned the fact that he had not just called and played his hand post flop. Eventually, he released his holding and the early position player was officially at risk.
Early Position Player:
Dan Moran:
Moran was well ahead of his opponent and remained so after the flop. The turn did give the at risk player a flush draw but it did not come in on the river, forcing him out of the tournament.
