Mathis Put to Test During Pay Jump

Marty Mathis got involved in a big pot against Tony Tran and regretted his decision when he realized there was a looming pay jump.
The board read and Mathis already had most of his chips in the middle when Tran bet to put him all-in for 105,000. Mathis entered the tank thought through a call, which he was hesitant to make as he didn't want to miss the next pay jump.
"I'm normally a fast player, but this is a pickle," Mathis told the table. "This is so sick."
"Did someone here order a water?" asked a cocktail waitress.
"I did," replied Mathis. "I might pour it on myself after this hand."
Mathis ended up folding and told the table he had , which was the right move as Tran showed for a set of fours.
