Earlier in the Wynn Fall Classic, a $2,200 Mystery Bounty poker event took place. Players drew envelopes containing prizes ranging from $500-$250,000! Among those to collect big bounties were Katie Lindsay, Keven Stammen, Kitty Kuo and Omaha truck driver Donald Nimneh. There were some real highs and lows in this truly unique poker tournament.
It was the second time that the Wynn Las Vegas poker room ran this amazing event. Here are some highlights:
Dennis Wilke opened to 300,000 in early position and George Petrov called in the cutoff. Bryan Piccioli then jammed his 925,000 stack in from the small blind and only Wilke called.
Bryan Piccioli:
Dennis Wilke:
Piccioli was in good shape to survive until the flop gave Wilke a set. The turn left Piccioli needing one of two outs, and the spiked the river to keep him alive as the table roared, although Piccioli didn't react much.
"I was pretty confident on the turn," Piccioli said.
