James Akenhead
James Akenhead

James Akenhead is down to his last lanner (4,000 chips) after losing out to fellow Full Tilt Pro Allen Cunningham. A pre-flop raising war broke out between these two and Barny Boatman but we reached the table too late to figure out how it went down. Boatman folded and both his opponent's groaned at how he could fold for the price he was getting.

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Akenhead moved all-in. Call. Akenhead tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but was behind to Cunningham's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The {8-Hearts} turn and {5-Spades} river failed to change anything and the American scooped in the pot to move back to his 15,000 starting stack.
