Shaun Deeb raised to 40,000 under the gun and Daniel Koloszar three-bet to 105,000 in early position. Deeb called and the flop came K?7?4?.
Koloszar bet another 55,000 and Deeb called. Koloszar then bet 160,000 on the 6? turn and Deeb used a time bank before calling once more.
The 9? fell on the river and Koloszar moved all in for 365,000, sending Deeb deep into the tank. He burned through multiple time banks and eventually called as Koloszar turned over K?K? for top set. Deeb flung his cards into the muck, exposing the 9?, as Koloszar doubled up.
At another table, Felix Seelentag busted Patrik Jaros when he jammed with ace-queen and Jaros called off his last chips with king-jack.
Gaspare Sposato was all-in for roughly 450,000 in middle position and was up against Tomas Patka in early position.
Gaspare Sposato: J?J?
Tomas Patka: K?K?
Sposate desperately needed help, but the 10?2?6?4?3? runout did not provide it. His pocket jacks remained second best versus the kings of Patka, eliminating him from the tournament.
Rachid El Yaacoubi raised to 40,000 in the hijack before Stanislav Zegal three-bet to 120,000 in the cutoff. El Yaacoubi called and they went heads-up to the Q?7?3? flop.
Zegal continued for 75,000 and El Yaacoubi called. Zegal then bet 220,000 on the 6? turn and El Yaacoubi again called.
The river was the 6? and Zegal slid forward 555,000, leaving himself just 30,000 behind. El Yaacoubi used up a time bank and tanked for a minute before calling. Zegal showed 10?9? for a bluff and El Yaacoubi turned over J?J? as he won the massive pot to take the tournament chip lead.
Ran Ilani open-shoved from the cutoff for 144,000. Anson Tsang called in the button before Adrian Ziemichod three-bet jammed for 450,000 in the small blind.
Tsang snap called and all three players tabled their cards.
Ran Ilani: 10?7?
Adrian Ziemichod: A?J?
Anson Tsang: A?A?
Tsang was in a good position to score a double knock-out but the 9?8?K? brought some outs for Ilani. The 7? paired him up for even more chances, while also giving Ziemichod a gutshot.
The 7? river made Ilani trips for his triple-up. Ziemichod was left with ace-high and quickly departed while Ilani and Tsang divided his stack between them.
Petr Svoboda raised to 45,000 in middle position, Marius Moldoveanu moved all in for 71,000 in the hijack, and Svoboda called.
Marius Moldoveanu: A?3?
Petr Svoboda: Q?Q?
The 7?4?6?K? board left Moldoveanu a card away from elimination, but he spiked the A? on the river to win the pot and double up.
At another table, Roman Hrabec ended the Main Event run of Niklas Astedt. Hrabec recalled that Astedt shoved for 58,000 and Hrabec called in the big blind with 10x2x. Astedt had A?10?, but Hrabec hit trip deuces on the board to win the pot and send Astedt to the rail.
In a preflop confrontation Alexander Bachman was all in for around 150,000 from the cutoff and up against Renata Simonaviciene who had him covered from the small blind.
Alexander Bachman: A?A?
Renata Simonaviciene: A?10?
Bachman was a huge favorite to double up until the 10?6?10? flop gave Simonaviciene trips leaving Bachman drawing to just the case ace. He found no help when the rest of the board ran out 3?7? and made his exit from the tournament area while Simonaviciene took the pot.
Alessandro Pichierri was already all in with around 300,000 in the middle as Simone Ramakers and Krasimir Yankov went to the river on a board of 3?2?9?5?K?. Ramakers then bet 200,000 from the button and Yankov, in the big blind, tanked for a minute before folding.
Ramakers turned over 7?7? for a pair of sevens. "I knew she was bluffing," a despondent Pichierri said as he mucked queen-five before heading off to collect his payout.
At the same time at another table, Pawel Wojciehowski and Manoe Betrix were heads-up on a board of 4?5?2?7?5?. Wojciehowski then moved all in from the big blind. Betrix used four time banks before calling for his last 400,000, turning over J?J?. Wojciehowski, though, had 8?6? for a straight to send Betrix to the rail.
