Curatolo Doubles Through Zerjav

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nolan Curatolo ended up as the player at risk for around eight blinds on the button and was looked up by Blaz Zerjav out of the big blind.

Nolan Curatolo: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Blaz Zerjav: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop seemingly sealed the double up but Zerjav gained a ton of equity on the {a-Spades} turn with the straight and flush draw. However, the {7-Diamonds} river was a blank and Curatolo doubled.

Miroslav Pantaleev was not as fortunate and bowed out moments later from a different table, reducing the field to the last 36 hopefuls.
