Ensan Leaves Negreanu Short

Level 21 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised to 525,000 from under the gun and Robert Campbell called in the cutoff. Hossein Ensan shoved again from the small blind and Abdelhakim Zoufri quickly folded his big blind. Negreanu shoved too and Campbell got out of their way.

Hossein Ensan: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for Ensan to hold with the higher pocket pair.

After counting both of their stacks several times, Negreanu had 6,580,000 and Ensan 6,440,000 which meant Negreanu was left behind with 140,000 and forced all-in in the big blind in the next hand.
