Welcome to the third and final day of Event #2: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed.
Out of a field of 476 competitors, only six players will return to the felt at 1 p.m. local time to continue to battle it out until a winner is crowned.
Starting the day as the chip leader is Denis Drobina with a stack of 3,875,000, the only stack above the 3-million mark. Drobina has five cashes on his WSOP resume and will be looking to win his first major title and WSOP bracelet.
He is followed by Christopher Back (2,880,000). Back is no stranger at the WSOP. In fact, he has 53 cashes and many WSOP Circuit final tables, including one Circuit ring. Today will be his chance to match it with a WSOP bracelet.
Bracelet winner Ivo Donev will start the day in third with 2,130,000. Donev is an experienced pro with $780, 457 in earnings on his WSOP profile. He has 31 cashes and half of them are in mixed games. Donev won his first bracelet in 2000 in Limit Omaha and got close to winning his second one this summer after getting 8th in Event #63: $1,500 Omaha Mix of the 2019 50th Annual World Series of Poker. He will have another shot at glory today.
Another bracelet winner still in contention is Dash Dudley with 1,700,000, fourth in chips. Dudley is a poker professional who started playing in 2002 and he has $1,455,670 in WSOP earnings. He collected his first bracelet this summer after taking down Event #52: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed for $1,086,967. He will be going for his second bracelet of the year.
Ming Juen Teoh (965,000) and Oshri Lahmani (360,000) round up the final six. Teoh will be shooting for his first record victory. As for Lahmani, he will be looking to win his first big title.
The remaining 6 players are all guaranteed to walk away with €7,850. However, all eyes will be on the first-place prize of €51,600 as well as the WSOP bracelet.
Action will resume at Level 30 which features a small blind of 50,000 and a big blind of 100,000 and levels will be of 40 minutes each.
