Badziakouski and Rudolph Check It Down

Level 25 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 1,300,000 from the hijack with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Christian Rudolph defended from the big blind with {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The flop fell {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Rudolph checked to Badziakouski who checked it back.

The {10-Clubs} on the turn paired the board and Rudolph checked again. Badziakuoski wanted to see a free river and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. Two more checks and Badziakouski earned the pot with ace-high.

Christian Rudolph opened to 1,300,000 in the cutoff with {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and James Romero looked down at {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} in the big blind. Romero was on the short stack and shoved all in for 7,800,000 which was snap-called by Rudolph.

Manig Loeser

The action folded to Manig Loeser in the small blind who looked down at the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Loeser shipped all in for 9,300,000 and Winfred Yu woke up with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} in the big blind. Yu quickly made the call and Loeser was at risk.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} to give Yu top pair and Loeser a straight draw. The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and the river was the {j-Diamonds}. The chip counts were verified and Yu barely had Loeser covered to send the German home in eighth place.

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 10th Place; Matthias Eibinger Eliminated in 9th Place (71,821 each)

Level 25 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Over on the outer table, Timothy Adams raised to 1,200,000 in the cutoff and Matthias Eibinger on the button three-bet all in for nearly 12,000,000. Benjamin Pollak in the small blind gave it some consideration, checked the stacks of both opponents and called. Adams snap-called all in for 10,600,000 and a three-way showdown emerged with the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Timothy Adams: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Benjamin Pollak: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Adams was poised to triple up, but the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was a disaster for the Canadian. Pollak spiked the one-outer to take the lead with a set of kings, and he held onto it with the {6-Hearts} turn and {A-Diamonds} on the river.

"Sorry Tim," Pollak immediately said. Adams was eliminated in 10th place and Eibinger had to settle for 9th, both receive 71,821 for their efforts. There will now be a short break to set up the official eight-handed final table.

Badziakouski Takes One Against Rudolph

Level 24 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski completed his small blind with {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Christian Rudolph opted to check the big blind while he held {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades} for Badziakouski to flop bottom pair. Badziakouski checked, Rudolph did the same to see the {2-Diamonds} come on the turn. Badziakouski was still ahead and bet 500,000. Rudolph had the gutshot to the straight and raised to 1,000,000 but the dealer announced all-in. Rudolph was quick to correct the dealer and Badziakouski smiled before making the call.

The river completed the board with the {j-Clubs} for Badziakouski to improve to two pair. Badziakouski checked again and Rudolph quickly did the same to see the pot awarded to Badziakouski.
