Langrock, Rothaermel and Garcia Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Martin Rothaermel
Martin Rothaermel

After losing a big pot to Alfredo Vega Meister on the money bubble, Martin Rothaermel dropped well below the average and soon after joined Sebastian Langrock on the rail.

Cord Garcia raised to 15,000 and was called by Rothaermel in the small blind and Sebastian Obermeier in the big blind.

"If they check, I will shove," Garcia said but instead it was Rothaermel that pushed all in for 44,400 on the {Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. Obermeier reluctantly called and Garcia folded.

Martin Rothaermel: {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Sebastian Obermeier: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {8-Hearts} turn gave Rothaermel a ton of outs, but the {8-Spades} river was of no help to reduce the Day 1A field to the last 30. Garcia was left with 23,000 and departed soon after.
